Most people are still unaware of its existence, and it is being treated like a new breed.  In fact, the American Bulldog is an ancient breed once thought to have become extinct.  It is the original breed called "Bulldog" and is the ancestor of many of today's popular breeds. When a dog lover looks at old paintings of Bulldogs, from about the early 1800's he is looking at pictures of the American Bulldog. When you research other breeds that mention the "Bulldog" as one of its ancestors, they are generally talking about the American Bulldog.

A little about us:

 Located 20 miles north of Houston, Texas; we here at "Major League Kennel" strive to produce American Bulldogs that meet the breed standard. We are a family of 3, me (Jernard), my outstanding/beautiful wife, and our beautiful daughter. Our dogs are socialized at an early age to allow them to be even temperament in any situation. I have raised bully breeds for several years. I realized American Bulldogs was the breed of choice for me, the first time we took our newborn daughter for a walk and a dog tried to attack us and our boy protected us.
